Christian Arnsperger is professor of sustainability and economic anthropology at the Institute of Geography and Sustainability (IGD) of the Faculty of Geosciences and the Environment (FGSE). Doctor in economics from the University of Louvain (Belgium), he has for many years been building his teaching and research at the interface between economic analysis, human sciences and existential philosophy. A specialist in post-consumerist/post-growth economic alternatives and the link between ecological transition and changes in mentalities and lifestyles, he was also scientific advisor to the Swiss Alternative Bank (BAS).
