Design Studios 2020–2023

For the past five years, the Transition Workshop has been offering an intensive two-week study session on a neighbourhood in transition, in collaboration with the Office of Urban Planning of the Canton of Geneva. Several multidisciplinary teams, made up of TW participants (architects, urban planners, landscape architects, engineers, geographers, etc.), draft development scenarios through the prism of the ecological transition.

The originality and added value of the Design Studio lies in the particular method invented within the Fondation Braillard for the integration of theory and practice, based on the multi-year experience of its team in the scientific monitoring of international consultations for the ecological transition of cities and territories (Consultation Grand Genève and Luxembourg in transition.
