Peter Droege heads the Liechtenstein Institute for Strategic Development, the global consulting and research organization for the rapid transition to regenerative communities, cities, regions and infrastructure. He is also president of Eurosolar, the European association for renewable energy, and general president of the World Council for Renewable Energies.<\/p>\n
Peter Droege, winner of the European Solar Prize for Education, established the Chair of Sustainable Spatial Development at the University of Liechtenstein while holding a joint chair in the School of Engineering and the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at the University of Newcastle, Australia. An inaugural member of the Zayed Future Energy Award jury and an expert commissioner for cities and climate change for the World Future Council, he also served on the steering committee of the Urban Climate Change Research Network hosted by the Goddard Institute for Space Studies at Columbia University and CUNY. He has taught and conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and Planning, at the University of Tokyo as the Chair of Urban Engineering at the Center for Research in Advanced Science and Technology, and as the Lend Lease Chair of Urban Design at the University of Sydney.<\/p>\n
