This intensive two-week practical workshop, supported by the Canton of Geneva, offers the opportunity to work on a real site within the Geneva region to imagine innovative ecological solutions for improving life, mobility, housing, and biodiversity in the face of the 2050 climate horizon.

Join us on Thursday, November 27th at the Geneva Seminar, an event as part of Geneva’s Climate Week. On the program: discover the work from this summer’s Transition Workshop, presented by the teams from this summer’s Design Studio.

With: Sylvain Ferretti (Canton of Geneva), Albane Ferraris (City of Geneva), Reto Camponovo (Hepia), Delphine Ding and Stéphane Emery (Architects for Climate).

The evening will conclude with a cocktail reception.

Congratulations to the Design Studio 2025 participants!

Design Studio 2025 concluded last Friday, after a full day of presentations to representatives of the Canton of Geneva and the City of Geneva, as well as a jury composed of architects and city specialists.

Congratulations to the teams who approached the Plainpalais-Place des Augustins neighborhood through the lens of resources, lifestyles, and living organisms! Their research and work will be the subject of a publication of recommendations submitted to the Urban Planning Office of the Canton of Geneva, followed by a public presentation next November.

Pending this final meeting, applications for the 2026 edition of the Transition Workshop are now open!
