Robert Sadleir

Robert Sadleir is the Director of Bureau Haus Ltd, a firm designing resilient systems for transition. He commenced his career in humanitarian operations with United Nations agencies before shifting focus to risk management and sustainability as head of sustainable infrastructure at the consulting arm of Lloyd’s Register in London. Subsequently, he became involved in developing standards on Sustainable Communities and Smart Cities for the International Standards Organisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission. He is an economist trained at the University of Sydney, The Graduate Institute, Geneva and Harvard University. e is a scientific committee member of the Braillard Architectural Foundation and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London.
